The 2026 edition of Men of Honour International fire Conference of the Canaanland Adoration ministries a.k. a E Dey Work with the theme: “Fatherhood, the crown of new glory” come to a close on Friday.
The four day event which commenced on Tuesday at the Umuoma Onicha Ezinihitte Mbaise Adoration ground featured discussions and lectures by seasoned technocrats on Economic, Religious, Social and Medical issues to aid participants to improve their well-being.
Preaching at a Mass marking the closing session of the event, the President/Spiritual Director, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, reminded fathers of the need to be in charge of their families by taking responsibility given to them as heads of their households.
Rev Fr Dr Ebere, popularly known as Fr E Dey Work, assured that God has given men the Grace and ability to take up their responsibilities in the familyvand charged all to lead responsibly.
Answering a question during the interactive session tagged “family meeting”, the Catholic priest urged people to shun attacking their seniors in their place of work to avoid unhealthy consequences on their career.
He therefore challenged them to always accord respects to those above them in their offices, pointing out that adopting such an attitude would guarantee hitch free career progression.
The inspirational gathering also featured the presentation of awards to deserving Adorers who have contributed to the growth of the gospel and humanity as explained by the International President Men of Honour, Surveyor Sir Reginald Odunze.
