Two young reigning professional Boxing Champions in the recently concluded South East boxing events held in Aba and Enugu, Zoe Chibuike Okoronkwo (“King Priest”) and Chinaza Ikechukwu Okoronkwo (“Emperor”) this Easter returned to their native home , Amangwu in Arochukwu LGA, Abia to showcase their love for the community.
The Duo: Zoe, the Featherweight champion and his siblings Chinaza the Lightweight Champion doled out N1 million for the education of youths in the community.
The donation, made through their father and Ex international Boxer, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo during the National Executive Council meeting at Amangwu Town Hall on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, aims to support Dr. Alex Chioma Otti’s educational reform in Abia State.
According to the champions, the donation will aid in paying PTA teachers while awaiting the deployment of newly recruited teachers as promised by Abia State Universal Basic Education, Umuahia.
Hanto Daily News reports that the gesture which was never expected from the young lads saw the National Executive committee of the Community’s development Union praise the donors for their kind disposition.
