There are indications that there will be unexpected political tussle in Beyalsa states the Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has distanced himself from Governor Douye Diri’s defection to the All Progressives Congress
(APC).
According umreliable sources, Ewhrudjakpo, alongside three members of the House of Assembly and some other stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), vehemently declared that there was no justification for abandoning the platform that brought them political prominence.
Unconfirmed reports has it that the Deputy Governor was absent at the SEC Meeting convened earlier Thursday morning, by Governor Diri.
Meanwhile further reports emerging say that lawmakers who defected with Diri are already considering impeachment proceedings against Ewhrudjakpo for declining to switch parties.
