Senior Special Assistant to Abia State Governor on Due process, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu has felicitated with the Abia and the Nigerian girl child as the world marks the International day of the girl child.
Dr Chukwu in a release congratulating them on this auspicious occasion, called for a world where the safety of the girl child is given adequate attention.
He advocated for a society where the girl child is free and safe to pursue her dream without any form of hindrance.
The Senior Special Assistant commended the efforts of the present administration in Abia State, especially, the office of the wife of the Governor in promoting the welfare and liberty of the girl child.
Dr. Chukwu therefore enjoined all stakeholders to adopt and support policies that advocate the Rights of the girl child to complement the efforts of the government.
