A two free medical outreach for residents across Isuikwuato Local Government Area, by the Member Representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, will hold on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at the Isuikwuato General Hospital, Mbalano.
The free medical programme which will bring quality healthcare to the people commenced from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, each day.
The two day life- saving exercise will draw the participation of several Medical Professionals, including Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Lab Technicians
According to the Hon Ogah the outreach is part of his ongoing efforts to directly impact lives in his constituents and a strategic response to the pressing healthcare needs of rural dwellers who find it difficult to access attention from the formal health system.
To ensure massive participation, he called on Community leaders, traditional rulers, and the clergy to help mobilize their people to take full advantage of the outreach.
According to an Aide to the National Assembly member,“This isn’t just about treating people for two days.
“It’s about bringing relief to the underserved and reminding them that their health matters. Hon. Ogah believes that governance should touch the lives of the common people, and this is one way of showing that commitment.”
Hanto Daily News correspondent who spoke with Stakeholders and residents reports that the outreach which has elicited praises from the Constituents will witness massive turnout following the aggressive mobilization carried out.
