The Anambra State command of the Nigerian immigration services has honoured it’s retiring Comptroller, Mr Godwin Ndubuisi Nzeribe with a befitting retirement ceremony after his 32 years of meritorious service to the Nation.
Addressing the audience in a ceremony which attracted Government Officials, Service Commanders, paramilitary organizations, Friends and well wishers, the Anambra State Commissioner of Police Mr Ikioye Orutugu described it as a big favour for one to serve and get to the position of Comptroller and prayed God to sustain him as he bows out of service.
Speaking, the Representative of the Commandant Nigeria Society of Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Deputy Commandant Ukaobi Prominence described Comptroller Nzeribe as a humble man that ensured synergy with NSCDC Anambra state.
Responding, the outgoing Comptroller of Immigration Anambra state, Mr Nzeribe expressed gratitude to God for a successful career and for the grace to retire meritoriously in good health and sound mind.
Mr Nzeribe reminded the officers and men of the need to rededicate themselves to the service in order to excel.
In their reactions, the wife of the retiring Comptroller, Mrs Juliet Nzeribe and the second daughter, Miss Nmesoma Godwin thanked God for guiding the retiring Comptroller all through his years of services and prayed God to grant him brighter and healthy future.
Mr Godwin Ndubuisi Nzeribe, a 1990 graduate of philosophy University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, South South, Nigeria, hails from Ihube in Okigwe local government area of Imo State, South East Nigeria.
