The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned the All Progressives Congress, APC, that Nigerians will massively reject the party in 2027 if it fails to address the biting hardship being experienced before the polls.
Primate Ayodele in a statement on Friday signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, made it clear that the President must immediately work towards making things easy for Nigerians before going into the election to prevent massive rejection across the country.
“The people are going through so much hardship, and not solving the problem the administration created before the election will lead to serious rejection for the ruling party. It’s better Tinubu works to resolve it now or face the anger of Nigerians,” he observed.
The Prophet further warned the APC and President Bola Tinubu against overconfidence in the 2027 presidential election, noting that overconfidence will become the weakness of the ruling party as several Nigerians will shockingly reject Tinubu in 2027.
According to him, if the party and its candidate rely on money to win the poll, they will be disappointed because Nigerians are going through a lot.
“Overconfidence will kill APC; they will be too overconfident, and that will be the party’s weakness in the election. They will turn Tinubu to a demi-god, but it will make them lose the election. They believe money can do everything, but it will fail in the 2027 election,” the Cleric cautioned.
The Primate who insisted that ordinary Nigerians will kick against the confidence of the APC due to hardship and insecurity, however pointed out that the APC will not regard the feelings of the people anything, an action, he said, will eventually lead to the party’s failure in the election.
“Common men will kick against the overconfidence because hardship and insecurity have taught them a lesson. They won’t see where they are lacking and believe they can do everything with money, but it will fail,” he added.
Continuing, Primate Ayodele stated that the Presidential Campaign Council will not be able to do anything tangible for Tinubu’s re-election bid unless the real issues in the country are dealt with.
