Following positive reactions and instant impact on the lives of his constituents, the Member Representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Collins Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu, has approved the release of an additional One Million Naira (₦1,000,000), for this year’s Free JAMB Registration Initiative.
Hon Iheonunekwu popularly addressed as Ochake by his admirers and Associates, said after receiving a progress report on the number of applications submitted within the first 24 hours of the registration portal opening, there was the need for the increase to accommodate the teeming number.
With the additional One million Naira, the total sum has been raised to Three Million Naira (₦3,000,000) and will now accommodate over 300 instead of about 200 contained in his earlier plan.
While expressing delight over the response and demand by students in his Constituency, the Lawmaker commended the organizers for their efforts in creating widespread awareness about the initiative.

Recall, Hon. Collins Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu officially flagged off the second edition of his Free JAMB Registration Exercise last Sunday with an initial allocation of Two Million Naira (₦2,000,000) to cover 200 beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, registration into the scholarship scheme is still on-going.
