As the membership of the Labour Party, LP, Abia’s ruling party continues to swell, all is now set to formally receive a former Secretary to Abia State Government, Chief Ralph Egbu, hundreds of his supporters and other political heavyweights from Ukwa West local government area into the Party.
Speaking with Newsmen on the level of preparation for the reception scheduled to hold on Friday this week (29/8/25) at Obehie Central School, Chief Egbu who had also served as Commissioner for information and Chief Press Secretary to the Governor in some previous administrations, expressed excitement over his decision to join the people-oriented leadership of Governor Alex Otti and the LP.
He attributed his decision to join Governor Alex Otti on the numerous achievements and people oriented projects the Governor has been executing across the state including Ukwa West LGA.
“His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti has within two years in office demonstrated uncommon capacity to deliver in virtually all sectors of the economy,” Egbu opined.
Chief Ralph Egbu, a celebrated Journalist and former Editor of leading Nigerian newspapers, assured that he would be bringing his experience to bear in the government of Governor Alex Otti.
