Gov Otti extols late Traditional Ruler of Isuochi

As the people of Isuochi, Umunneochi and Abia State mourn the departure of His Royal Majesty, Eze Godwin Irononso Ezekwesiri, the Ochi 1 of Isuochi Ancient Kingdom, who ruled for over half a decade, Governor Alex Otti has expressed sadness over the death of the traditional ruler.

Governor Otti, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, said the revered Royal Father passed away at a time when the younger generation needed to tap into his experience and wealth of knowledge.

The Governor noted that the late Ezekwesiri was an elder statesman who positively impacted his community in particular and the state at large.

He pointed out that Eze Ezekwesiri used his over five decades on the throne to touch lives positively while ensuring peace, unity and security in his kingdom in particular and Umunneochi as a whole, and prayed God to grant his soul eternal repose.

Meanwhile Prominent Abians and Nigerians have been trooping to the Ochiagha Royal Palace Umuelem Isuochi to commiserate with the family and the community over the irreparable loss.
