Gov Fubara Appoints Five New Permanent Secretaries

The Rivers State Govenor, Siminalayi Fubara has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.

A statement issued by the Head of the Rivers State Civil Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Inyingi Brown on Tuesday, named the appointees to include: Dr. Vincent Worgu Wachukwu, Cordelia Uwuma Eke, Ifeanyi Anthony Ogboma, Dr. Mina Gogo Jim-Jaja, and Henry Uzor.

The statement explains that the move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and enhance service delivery across ministries, departments, and agencies of government.

According to the statement, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries will be sworn in by the Governor on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
