Easter Celebrations: Oluebube Enjoins Christians to Embrace Humility, Forgiveness, Compassion

As Christians the world over mark the Easter celebration, the Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu has called on Christians to embrace the core values of humility, forgiveness, and compassion.

Dr Chukwu in a message to mark this year’s Easter celebration noted that these virtues remain essential in building a peaceful and progressive society.

He enjoined them to reflect deeply on the true meaning of the season, emphasizing that Easter goes beyond festivities and social gatherings.

The Due Process Boss further described the celebration as the cornerstone of the Christian faith, as it not only commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ but celebrated the victory of life over death.

According to him, the season serves as a powerful reminder of sacrifice, redemption, and unwavering love for humanity.

“Easter is not just a tradition but a call to live a life of purpose, selflessness, and renewed faith. The resurrection of Christ symbolizes hope for mankind, even in the face of trials and challenges,” he pointed out.

While encouraging believers to extend love to the less privileged and foster unity within their communities, Dr Chukwu enjoined Christians to strengthen their relationship with God and remain steadfast in righteousness.

“As we celebrate, let us remember that the essence of Easter is sacrifice and victory. It is a time to rise above hatred, division, and despair, and embrace hope, love, and new beginnings,”the Due Process Boss added.

Dr. Chukwu therefore wished all Christians peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration, urging them to carry the message of Christ’s resurrection into their daily lives.
