Reports say former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Abia State University, Prof. Godwin Emezue, is dead.
A release issued on the social platform of the University mourning the passing on of the revered Professor said the Academic giant died on Wednesday (26/8/26).
While describing his death as a great loss to the University community, the release noted that Prof. Emezue dedicated years of service to the University and contributed immensely to the advancement of education and the growth of ABSU.
The release condoled with his family, loved ones, colleagues, and the entire ABSU community at this difficult time and prayed God to grant his soul rest in peace.
