The Abia State Police Command has arrested a 26 year old young man, Chukwujekwu Uzoedo, from Uduma Ezinnachi, Okigwe, Imo State for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery.
The command in a release issued on Wednesday, by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, disclosed that leveraging credible intelligence, operatives of the Uturu Divisional Headquarters successfully trailed and apprehended the said Chukwujekwu Uzoedo, a native of Ezinachi Okigwe, Imo State but resident in Abia State in his hideout.

The command which traced the development to the earlier apprehension of four suspects involved in criminal conspiracy and armed robbery who have been terrorizing and dispossession students of Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU), and other residents of their belongings, said it was achieved following the determination to track down and arrest the fleeing accomplices linked to the crimes.
Items recovered from him include: One HP Laptop, One Tecno Android Phone, One Tecno POP 5, One Itel Android Phone and One iPhone 16.
Other items are: One Infinix Android Phone, One White Earpod, One Black Earpod and one Motorcycle.

According to the command, the suspect has confessed his involvement in the crime.
Meanwhile, Investigation is ongoing with a view to apprehend other accomplices.
