Abia State Government has alerted the public of a circulating scam Post about a ₦25,000 Christmas Cash Grant from Governor Alex Otti.
A release endorsed by Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Chief Press Secretary to Abia Governor describes the post as a deliberate criminal attempt to deceive and scam the unsuspecting public.
The release therefore advises the General Public to ignore the scam as the Law Enforcement Agencies have been alerted to Investigate and Apprehend the Fraudsters.
It further makes it clear that all Social Investment, Welfare and Intervention Programmes of the Governor and Government of Abia State are published on the Official Website of Abia State Government.
