The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, Danladi Isa has directed various police Divisions Area Comnands in the State to ensure the provision of adequate security of Schools Worship Centres and Key Infrastructure in their areas.
Addressing Area Commands and Division when he visited them on Saturday, 22/11/2025, the Commissioner of Police, directed them to provide round the clock protection to these infrastructures to guarantee peace and security of lives and property .
He appealed to the people to be proactive by volunteering useful information to the Police, through reporting to the nearest police station or by contacting the Command’s emergency hotlines.
CP Danladi Isa, who was in company of the Command’s Tactical Teams, visited Obehie, Ugwunagbo, CPS Aba, Owerrenta, Ubakala, CPS Umuahia, Area Command Aba, Area Command Umuahia and other Divisions and Area Commands across the state.
Hanto daily news findings indicate that the current directive could be linked to apprehension from intelligence of potential volatile reactions by some people following the recent conviction of the IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by an Abuja High Court presided over by Justice James Omotosho and the recent upsurge in the abduction of school children and worshippers in parts of the country.
