The Director of Agribusines Incubation Centre (ABIC), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Dr Philips Nto has felicitated with the Vice Chancellor, Prof Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe on the occasion of his birthday.
Dr Nto in a message he sent to the Vice Chancellor MOUAU, noted that the administration of Prof Iwe has brought peace, progress and industrial harmony to the institution.
He described Prof Iwe as a quintessential gentleman, cerebral academic, and astute administrator who has positively impacted the university since his appointment as the Vice Chancellor.
He pointed out that Prof Iwe has accomplished both infrastructural and academic development in the university, thus making him one of the most effective Vice Chancellors in Nigeria.
The Director ABIC-MOUAU also commended Prof Iwe for his deft handling of relationships between the host communities and the university, which has engendered enduring peace and sustainable development in the institution.
While wishing the Vice Chancellor a birthday filled with joy and laughter, Dr. Nto prayed God to grant the Vice Chancellor a longer life in good health and assured him that the staff of ABIC will continue to support his progressive initiatives aimed at making MOUAU the hub of agribusiness and value addition in the southeast.
He expressed joy that with the support of the Vice Chancellor, ABIC has made tremendous progress in the sensitization of the populace on modern methods of agriculture.
