Following the release online of the lists of successful qualified candidates for 2025 teachers recruitment exercise, Computer based test CBT exams will hold on 5th and 6th March 2025 for the shortlisted candidates.
A release endorsed by the Recruitment Committee for the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, advises the candidates to print their exam photo-cards which will indicate the designated CBT Centre, batch and exam date, 48 hours before the exam date
The release enjoins the candidates who applied are to check their SMS or email notifications, using their phone number and email address provided during registration or login into the recruitment portal www.mobse.abiastate.com to verify their status.
It further explains that Applicants with NCE qualification will be posted to Primary Schools where they will be tested in English Studies, Mathematics and General Studies while Candidates with Degree qualification will be posted to Junior and Senior Secondary Schools where they will be tested in English Studies Language, Mathematics, their selected areas of specialization and one elective subject.
According to the release, cut off marks will be set based on performance of the candidates while those who exceed the threshold will proceed for oral interview from where successful Candidates will move to the certificate verification process.
The release further warns candidates against presenting inconsistent records as such actions will result in disqualification.
