The second session of the 2026 Immigration Law & Practice Webinar Series, focusing on “Immigration Enforcement, Digitalisation and the Future of Immigration Practice.” of the Nigerian Immigration Lawyers Association (NILA) will hold on Thursday, 24 September 2026.
According to a release by the body, the virtual webinar, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., will feature Mr. Dayo Adu, Managing Partner, Moroom Africa and Notary Public of Nigeria, as Keynote Speaker.
The release clearly states that with fourteen years of experience, advising local and international companies, Mr. Adu’s practice spans Corporate Immigration, Corporate/Commercial, Business Advisory, Regulatory & Compliance, Corporate Investigations, White-Collar Crime, and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) matters. He is also a frequent speaker on corporate immigration, employment law and ESG.
The release further discloses that Prof. Chukwudi Victor Odoeme a Legal Practitioner, Professor of International Law, Notary Public and Fellow of the Nigerian Immigration Lawyers Association (FNILA) academic, consultant and public administrator with about 26 years’ national and international experience will moderate the session.
It notes with delight that the Webinar comes at a time of significant developments in Nigeria’s immigration administration, including increasing digitalisation of immigration processes, evolving enforcement approaches, corporate immigration compliance obligations and the changing demands placed on practitioners and businesses operating in Nigeria.
The release also points out that the session will provide an opportunity for immigration lawyers, legal practitioners, corporate and HR professionals, policymakers, regulatory and compliance professionals, and other stakeholders to examine these developments and consider their implications for the future of immigration practice in Nigeria.
