As controversy over the comments of two prominent of All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Orji Kalu and Hon Chris Nkwonta dominate discussions, a former Speaker Abia House of Assembly and an APC Chieftain, Prince Christopher Enweremadu has also given kudos to Governor Alex Otti for his performance in office.
Prince Enweremadu who made the remarks on Wednesday after a private visit to Governor Otti at his Nvosi country home, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, defied the the feelings of his party leadership in Abia and called for continued support for Dr Otti led-administration.
While describing his visit as non-political, he pointed out that it was primarily to show support for the governor and discuss issues concerning the development and wellbeing of Abians, stressing that the Governor has done well in the past three years.
The former Speaker noted that Governor Otti is fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to him by the electorate by building on existing foundations while also pursuing his administration’s development
Prince Enweremadu however enjoined Abians to recognise the contributions of successive administrations to the development of the state, even as he described governance as a continuous process.
