A new commissioner of police, Abia state Police command, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi has assumed duty
CP Olutokunbo Afolabi who is the 35th Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command succeeds Danladi Isa, who has been promoted to the tank of AIG and redeployed to Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Anex Kaduna.
A seasoned and accomplished police officer of the Nigeria Police Force, CP enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) on 18th May 1992 and has since built a distinguished career marked by professionalism.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Botany from the University of Ilorin, Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s degree in Peace and Security Studies from the University of Port Harcourt as well as possesses professional strategic and tactical courses.
Prior to posting to Abia state Command, the new Abia Commissioner of police was the CP Admin, Training & Development Force Headquarters Abuja and had served as Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command.
