The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon Amobi Godwin Ogah has approved the intake of new beneficiaries who wish to study medical and health related courses at Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba, for the 2026/2027 academic session.
A release endorsed by the DG Hon Amobi Ogah Education Foundation, Dr Promise Udeh says those to apply for this edition which is the third batch must be indigenes of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State, must possess 5 credit in English and Maths, and 3 other relevant subjectsh in either WAEC, NECO, or NBTE certificate, stating that those awaiting O’level Result will not be accepted.
According to the release the Scholarship opportunity is open to candidates wishing to undertake the ND or HND Programme.
The release names dates and venues for the examination to include:
Uturu Center: 9am. 10th July, 2026 @ Uturu Secondary School.
Isuikwuato Center: 1pm. 10th July, 2026 @ Isuikwuato High School.
Nneato Center: 9am. 11th July, 2026 @ Nneato Secondary School.
Isuochi Center: 1pm. 11th July, 2026 @ Isuochi High School.
Umuchieze Center: 3pm. 11th July, 2026 @ Leru Secondary School.
It advises candidates to come with a photocopy of any of these valid means of identification such as NIN, ID-card; LGA certificate of Origin; or a signed and stamped letter of Identification from the Traditional ruler of their community.
The release further directed them to come to the entrance examination venue with 1 recent passport photograph which will be attached to their examination script for identification.
According to the release, the qualifying examinations are Objective Questions in: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and current affairs questions about Isuikwuato/Umunneochi, Abia State and Nigeria.
It also announces that in line with its tradition of strictly promoting academic excellence, Only the 1st and 2nd Highest Scoring Candidates will be selected in each of the 22 wards in Isuikwuato and Umunneochi, explaining that this will ensure that each ward gets Equal Opportunity
