As a strategic effort to deepen grassroots impact and improve service delivery, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) on Wednesday (18/3/26) convened its Local Government Area (LGA) managers for a high-impact review meeting and capacity building training.

The one-day session, held at the AOC Centre, Umuahia, brought together managers from Ohafia, Bende, Isuikwuato, Arochukwu, and Umunneochi, creating a platform for honest reflection, strategic learning, and renewed commitment to community transformation.

Hanto Daily News reports that far from a routine meeting, the training served as a critical checkpoint, highlighting key successes while confronting operational gaps such as delayed reporting, incomplete documentation, and inconsistencies in expense tracking.

It also provided the opportunity to issue clear directives to strengthen accountability and raise performance standards across all LGAs.
At the heart of the foundation’s work is its founder, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, whose vision for transparent governance and sustainable community development continues to guide its expanding footprint.

Participants were also taken through intensive sessions on sanitation reporting, financial transparency, logistics coordination, and effective site selection, ensuring that every intervention delivers measurable impact where it matters most.
Taking Participants through one of the most engaging sessions, the Programme Manager, Helen Mannic, who led discussions on boosting attendance and community engagement, outlined practical, results-driven strategies for mobilizing local populations, strengthening communication channels, and increasing participation in foundation programmes.

The interactive forum allowed field representatives to share real-time experiences, challenges, and solutions—fostering collaboration and peer learning among managers.
In a resolution, after the session, participants reaffirmed their commitment to excellence, accountability, and delivering lasting impact at the grassroots.
