Nigeria receives military supplies from US

The United States has announced the delivery of military supplies to Nigerian security agencies as part of her support in the ongoing anti- terrorism operations in the country.

This was made public via a post on X this Tuesday by the United States Africa Command, AFRICOM.

“US forces delivered critical military supplies to our Nigerian partners in Abuja. This delivery supports Nigeria’s ongoing operations and emphasizes our shared security partnership,” AFRICOM said on X.

Recall, the US had on Christmas Day bombed terrorists camps and equipment in Northern Nigeria following her decision to directly involve the country in tackling killings initiated by terror groups against Christians in particular and Nigerians in general.

For sometime now, Nigeria has faced an upsurge of insecurity, with hundreds including school children and women being kidnapped.
