Abia State Police Command has refurbished and handed over six (6) patrol vehicles to various formations and units within the Command.
The beneficiaries include: State Traffic Office, Umuahia, Scorpion Squad, Aba, Mbala Divisional Headquarters, Nkporo Divisional Headquarters, Umuoba Divisional Headquarters and the newly established Abia State Police Band.
Handing over the vehicles , the Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa expressed deep appreciation to the Government of Abia State for its continued support, which made the refurbishment possible.
CP Isa, therefore, charged the officers to make effective use of the vehicles in combating crime and responding promptly to the security needs of Abians.
