Former Abia Governor, T. A. Orji, resigns from PDP.

Former Governor of Abia and Senator, that represented Abia central senstorial zone Senator T. A.Orji has formally resigned from the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.

Senator ORJI popularly known as Ochendo who made this public in a letter to his Ward 1 Chairman in a letter said the decision takes immediate effect.

According to the former Governor, the decision was arrived at after wider consultations with his family and Associates.

Hanto Daily News reports that the former Governor is yet to make his next destination known.

Recall, his son and former speaker Abia House of Assembly, Engineer Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji (Ikuku) had sometime ago defected to APC where he hopes to pursue his political career

Dear Sir,

NOTICE OF RESIGNATION FROM THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP)

I write to formally tender my resignation from membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) effective immediately.

This decision has been taken after a wide consultations with family and associates.

I appreciate the opportunities and experiences gained during my time as a member of the party.

Please accept this letter as a formal notice of my withdrawal from the party.
