As the world marks the 2026 World Mental Day, The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), has reminded all that everyone deserves to be heard, supported, and treated with compassion without fear of judgment or stigma.
In a statement to mark the event , the OACF stressed the need to remember that mental health is just as important as physical health.
According to the Philanthropic body, “In a world that constantly tells us to do more, be stronger, and keep pushing, sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause and take care of yourself. Behind every smile is a human being with feelings, challenges, and experiences we may never fully understand.”
The statement noted that the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), believes that building stronger communities begins with caring for the people within them, and therefore, called for the creation of spaces where conversations about mental health are welcomed, asking for help is encouraged, and no one feels alone in their struggles.
“Check on someone, listen without judgment, offer kindness, and remember that seeking support is a sign of strength. Together, let’s build a world where mental well-being matters and everyone has the opportunity to thrive,” OACF observed.
