Mustapha Bala Dawaki, former Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has dumped the ruling party for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC).
This is just coming a week after Dawaki, a former member of the House of Representatives who represented the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa constituency in Kano State, lost his bid to secure a return ticket through consensus in the APC left the broom party
Confirming the development, Saifullahi Hassan, media aide to one of the NDC leaders and Kwankwasiyya figure, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, said the move took place at Kwankwaso’s Miller Road residence in Kano.
Reports say that the NDC is currently discussing the best approach to allocating party tickets across the state through consensus arrangements.
