It was a sad development for the Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Ogah as he lost his mobile Phone at the commendation service organized on Thursday by the Abia State Government at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia for the fallen Renowned Evangelist, Revered Man of God and Abia Statesman, the Late Rev Dr Uma Ukpai.
The evil act said to allegedly have been perpetrated by a yet-to-be-identified man, clearly marked with a pointer in a picture and video that have gone viral via the social media, took place when the suspect in the midst of the surging crowd quietly removed the phone while the National Assembly member was leaving the well attended event in the midst of an overflowing crowd and left the scene immediately.
Meanwhile, Hon Ogah has announced a reward of N500,000 for anyone that can help identify the Suspect marked in the Image
This unfortunate act, carried out during such a solemn and highly respected gathering, has drawn strong condemnation and heightened concern over security breaches at major public events.
