Embrace hardwork and shun laziness – Fr E Dey Work charges Youths

The spiritual Director Canaanland Adoration ministries and Convener Mbaise Youths Summit, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, has described idleness and laziness as destroyers of destinies.

Addressing hundreds of Mbaise Youths at the September edition of their summit held at global FM premises Aguneze Ahiara Mbaise, Imo State, Fr Ebere popularly known as Fr E Dey work made the clear that diligence connects pleasure while laziness begets pressure.

Dwelling on the theme: Diligence, the way forward , the Catholic priest urged youths to imbibe the spirit of diligence, stressing that productive life and wealthy living could only be attained and sustained through hardwork.

“You must be productively engaged in order to make ends meet. If you want your wealth to last, you must be hardworking. There is no way you can succeed if you don’t work hard.

“Success is your birthright as a child of God but you must work hard. Hard work makes you to be on top.

” Only hard workers are high-flyers , Fr E Dey work emphasized.

He further reminded them of the need to have and pursue their vision and urged them never to be deterred by any challenge on their way.

Fr E Dey work also enjoined to shun the belief that you cannot only make it without knowing somebody, the thought that you can only make when you start big as well as having in mind that there are special places for success .

While calling on Youths to beware of their little beginnings, he assured them one can always succeed in any place with persistent hardwork and clear vision, adding that it was his intention to create an industrial hub for Mbaise through the summit.

” Don’t wait till you travel to Owerri, Lagos, Abuja, or Abroad before you can start anything. Don’t think about where you are to start but begin from where you are now, the Catholic priest advised.

The highlight of the September summit was the appointment of Zonal coordinators for the three local government areas of Mbaise Nation.

Hanto Daily News reports that the summit had earlier in the day featured free medical exercise for the Youths who were screened and given drugs .
